Big Youth: Screaming Target (TJALP305)

More classic groundbreaking albums on the reissue, and a host of miscellaneous related bonus tracks.  This time Big Youth’s Epic Gussie Clarke produced Screaming Target.

The title track from the intro, all the way through that lazy reggae rockers vibe, tinkly piano infectious riddim, and the no no no’s is a killer.  Youth will rightly go down as one of the originator’s alongside only one or two when all said and done.

Still totally playable and relevant now, so revive or get it for the first time. Classic.

Big Youth: Screaming Target (TJALP305)
