BOBBY TAYLOR: TogetherBOBBY TAYLOR: Ohh Baby Baby

Hi mike,

Thank you for staying on top of things.

I grew up in fort green projects. Anthony (Little Anthony) and i were friends from the age of 6 we lived in the same building. Anthony's mom and my mom were the best of friends. I knew anthony before he started singing. His first record was with a group called the du ponts. Their first record was called {you} .from the du ponts anthony went to a group called the chesters.

They made a song called {the fires burn no more]. After that they changed their name to the imperials which soon became lil anthony and the imperials.

I got off to a late start. At that time i was not interested in singing. At the age of 17 a group of gentlemen came to me and asked me to sing with them.

I said yes they were the 5 crystals. We made a record on the kane record label called hey landlord b/w good looking out.

We had some success. From kane records we meet mr phil medley who started glade records.

We made several tracks for phil. In which he took to juggy murray who is the owner of sue records.

We were with ike  & tina turner charlie & inez fox, the whole sue family it was great.

We did the apollo theatre and we were on our way. Until tragedy hit the group. Our lead singer had a son that was born retarded it got the best of him. It was very sad to watch so close to you go through  that. Right after that 2 of our members of the group got drafted.

Their was only 2 of us left from 5. We had to regroup it took some time but we found the right people.

At that point we meet sammy turner. Who  took us chess records which in turn made a deal with  20th century fox their parent label was m-g-m records in which we recorded whip  it on me baby b/w first dance fear the poindexter bros wrote the songs for they also wrote a thin line between love and hate.

From that point we went on tour with the gypsies they had a record called jerk it. We had so much fun.

When we came home we meet patrick adams i changed the groups name to magnetic touch. I have been with patrick for the last 25 years .

Going back just before patrick we did work with gene redd a great person. His sister is sharon redd she made can you handle it. The song together.was arranged by gene redd and a live band called sound advise. They played live on together and hurt so bad.

Together is a special song to me billy hardy and i wrote it both gene and billy have passed away. They are in my heart forever.

Gene told me this song is a hit 24 years ago. I believe it so i released it with my lead on it i have been solo for 4 years.

Patrick said i should have been solo. I was always in the harmony. Now i am on my own way.

I am happy married with children. I would love to have an agent in the uk. And i would like to get picked up by a major label.

Patrick and i are working hard for me to succed.

My favorite artist are al green - luther - isley bros - dramatics - enchantment. Again thank you so much.

Sincerely,

Bobby tayler
