Clancy Eccles:
Freedom - An Anthology (TJDDD297)
Coming from an era
of reggae that I grew up with and loved.
Thus there are many tracks tat are fondly remembered, loke King Stitt,
Lord Creator, Herbsman Shuffle, and so on. I am pleased to say that the ones I recollect the best are
the best tracks.
That said there are
other tracks less familiar with the same rhythm track worth investigating. Clancy
Eccles productions have a feel and regard for what was going down at the time, a
consciousness, but also an affinity and affection for the island.
A sound and varied
collection, including some fine vocalist by the way.
