An interesting documentary about Jay Z and his upbringing, life covering both the music side but also the considerable entrepeneurship.

From a 10lb baby Sean carter, through his childhood and chaos in his early life into one of the biggest rappers and most influential businessmen around.

TV documentary style, interesting but devoid of any music, other than background which is a shame. On the other hand it does include some of the controversies that have bestowed him within the rap world.

One of the better docu’s in the Urban Edge series.

It explores his deep search to find peace and closure with his father, which ultimately leads to his last album and possibly his retirement as a rapper.
