Terrific stuff – if you like that late 70’s easy roots, light dub and effects, conscious lyrics the n you will love this compilation which on disc 2 features a whole heap of unreleased material. An album that just eases along and takes you with it, sweet vocals are very fine. Also feature the likes of Bim Sherman and Morwell Esquire.

Consistent material with no real standout. I do however like the strained vocal and dub FX on Mama gonna Buy you a diamond Ring. Underground and Solid Ground, No Way Out are also standout.

The Black Ark CD from the vaults is impressive, slightly harder rhythms but still that same vibe. What a Gathering, Love won’t come easy, are great, as is the version (one of the few non self penned tracks) of Grooving. Living My Culture the title track just about sums up the whole thing
