Regrettably time and volume of material is only going to allow for some brief reviews, I’ll try and fill it out when I get a minute. To be finished

Special thanks to www.soulchoonz.com for quite a few of these, where many can be downloaded.

Carl Thomas – so much better -www.soulchoonz.com  One of my favourite artists of recent years .  2 pieces is a great track sounding a bit John Legend but better.  Another You is slightly more up beat but sparse arrangement allowing the vocals to be prominent, with nice harmonies, the soulful side of Contemporary R’n’B, excellent.  As the title might suiggest a slow jam, Late night rendezvous, and a very good one too. Something about you,  Great production and very, very worthy.

Ty Causey – expressions  www.soulchoonz.com http://www.soulchoonz.com/Featured_Artists/ty_causey.html

One that Soul people have long been looking forward to as his previous material was very well received, and this does not disappoint.  I got love, Pick up the pieces,  So addicted,  Wishing you were here being the picks – it is difficult to pick favourites as these are all so good but if pushed I would go for the mellow Pick up the pieces with its bluesy guitar.  Excellent production throughout and pure quality

Angela Lewis Brown – Peaceful Rivers – To come

I-Kay -  Its Summertime (Basecamp edit) www.i-kay.co.uk At last I have something on my pwn patch that I can write home about and I have been plugging this track for several months now, and have seen I-Kay perform locally a couple of times now, and I hope to have some fresh material real soon.  Young, fresh, good looking, good relaxed stage presence, and most of all can sing. So there is some hope for some good local Soul Music, and I beliee I-Kay may be just the one to carry it off.

Jahah – Melting Pot available from soulchoonz, and dealt with alsewhere on the site - http://www.lifeandsoulpromotions.net/part32.html

Seven –Home - www.soulchoonz.com Been on to this one for a while mainly through the track Brother Sister which is a punchy midtempo gem that has been garnering some plays with some excellent strings.  But it is more than a one tracker with Crazy (fast paced and funky), If you really want to (mellow funk, funkadelic kinda groove) and On and On (very nice, second best track) worthy of attention

Rhonda thomas Breathe New Life  www.soulchoonz.com - recently met up with Rhonda on her visit to London with Isaac Hayes and her album wwas featured on here a while ago, actually quite a while ago, but now available for digital download, and still sounding good.  Currently working on the follow up.

Joyce Dalton & Super Friends – Includes two very nice Latin Tracks both with prominent piano, My Latin Brother,my favourite, and It’s Magic

agua negro - smacks records (mr. len of company flow owns it) www.myspace.com/thevl
supa baby aka god i want you here - record breakin music (dj junior - ?uestlove's fave dj/tastemaker) ft D Ferguson

Couple of tracks out of the Vice Lounge Stable but for me it’s the Agua Negro track that reigns supreme, moody, yet funky but most of all just a little bit different, the vocale, FX, drum patterns all hand together very well. The second track is Supa Baby -
