A rico anthology from 1961 to 1971 takes you through all the the genres of Jamaican music from the kicking R’n’B through to rockers reggae. Rico is a legend, and there aren’t many trombone legend’s so that tells its own story. 50 odd tracksof Rico in all of his many guises and I couldn’t do it justice in mere words, though I would argue that with an instrumentalist like this his best work is behind. But dersving of credit for sure.

Always cutting edge and part of the fabric of Ja music. If you like instrumental music of this kind then there will bre something here for you.
